Position Overview:
A growing manufacturer serving infrastructure, industrial, and engineered construction markets is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to support continued expansion across a large, underserved territory.
This is a newly created growth role designed to establish market presence, develop strategic customer relationships, and drive revenue growth across project-driven applications. The position combines technical sales, business development, and project support responsibilities and will play a critical role in the next phase of the division’s growth.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic territory growth plan.
- Identify, pursue, and manage project opportunities from specification through completion.
- Build relationships with engineering firms, contractors, consultants, municipalities, and public agencies.
- Conduct technical discussions regarding project requirements and application solutions.
- Deliver Lunch & Learns, presentations, and educational sessions to key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal engineering, operations, and manufacturing teams to support customer needs.
- Maintain market visibility through industry events, jobsite visits, and customer engagement activities.
- Manage pipeline activity and maintain accurate forecasting.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in technical sales, business development, or sales engineering within construction, industrial, infrastructure, or engineered products markets.
- Proven ability to build relationships with engineering firms, contractors, consultants, and public agencies.
- Comfortable navigating complex project sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with a polished customer-facing presence.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to business development and territory growth.
- Motivated by performance-based compensation and the opportunity to directly influence earnings.
Travel:
- Approximately 40–60% overnight travel throughout the assigned territory for customer meetings, project support, and industry engagement activities.
