The Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a driven sales leader to oversee and develop an established outside sales team while playing a key role in the continued growth of the Pacific Northwest market. The Sales Manager will directly lead a team of outside sales professionals, providing coaching, accountability, and strategic direction while helping drive sales and gross margin performance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading, coaching, and developing a team of outside sales professionals.
- Managing lumber and building material sales.
- Establishing and monitoring sales KPIs with a strong focus on margin and accountability.
- Maintaining effective communication and alignment across a field-based sales team.
- Driving sales initiatives in support of the branch’s revenue targets.
- Fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture aligned with the company’s values.
The ideal candidate is an energetic, accountable sales leader with 3-5+ years of sales management experience in the building materials industry, along with strong knowledge of lumber products and two-step distribution. Experience working with home centers, retail lumberyards, and other key customer segments is highly valued. The successful candidate will be a go-getter who enjoys developing people, driving results, and contributing to a growing organization.
Benefits & Compensation:
- $90,000–$110,000 base salary, plus uncapped bonus potential.
