Outside Sales Representative

A growing building materials company is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to develop and grow relationships with contractors, builders, remodelers, and other construction professionals. This is a field-focused role with approximately 80% of the time spent visiting customers and job sites.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business and grow existing customer accounts
• Make regular customer and job site visits
• Sell lumber and building materials through a consultative approach
• Prepare quotes, bids, take-offs, and estimates
• Coordinate orders, pricing, and deliveries with internal teams
• Maintain strong customer relationships and consistently achieve sales goals

Qualifications

• Outside sales experience, preferably within building materials or construction
• Experience selling to contractors, builders, or remodelers preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills
• Self-motivated and comfortable managing a territory independently
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive base salary + uncapped commission
• Anticipated first-year earnings of $70K-$90K
