CDL Driver

Position Overview
Our client, a respected building materials supplier, is seeking a Driver to support daily deliveries and provide exceptional customer service throughout the delivery process. This role plays a critical part in maintaining strong customer relationships by ensuring materials are delivered safely, accurately, and professionally to jobsites. The ideal candidate will work closely with dispatch, warehouse, and sales teams while representing the company in a professional and customer-focused manner.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform daily vehicle safety inspections and ensure trucks are properly maintained and clean
• Load, secure, and deliver building materials safely and accurately to customer jobsites
• Operate truck-mounted forklifts, boom trucks, or manually unload materials as needed
• Review delivery paperwork and ensure all customer instructions are followed
• Process deliveries and proof of delivery through company systems and photos
• Assist with material returns, warehouse support, and order building when needed
• Maintain strong communication with dispatch, customers, and internal teams
• Provide excellent customer service and professionally handle customer concerns
• Support a positive team environment and maintain knowledge of products, inventory, and promotions
Qualifications
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds
• Strong work ethic and team-player mentality
• Valid DOT medical card as required
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• 2+ years of delivery or related experience preferred
• Experience operating forklifts, boom trucks, or handling building materials is a plus
