About the Role
The incoming Chief Executive Officer will report directly to the Board of Directors and be responsible for leading all aspects of the organization’s operational improvement, growth strategy, and cultural evolution. The ideal candidate will bring:
- Deep operational leadership in wood products, millwork, or engineered materials, ideally across multi-site manufacturing environments.
- Proven experience improving yields, throughput, and automation without disrupting the company’s collaborative culture.
- Strong financial and strategic discipline, with a track record of driving EBITDA expansion through mix optimization, SG&A control, and capital efficiency.
- Demonstrated ability to lead organizational transformation while preserving trust and engagement across a long-tenured workforce.
Key Leadership Imperatives
The CEO will:
- Lead the execution of the company’s long-term strategic vision and operational roadmap.
- Drive lean manufacturing and continuous improvement across all sites.
- Build high-performance teams and strengthen leadership succession pipelines.
- Deepen relationships with major OEM customers in the window and door industries, such as Andersen, JELD-WEN, and Pella.
- Champion a values-driven culture rooted in safety, respect, and innovation.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will possess:
- 15+ years of leadership experience in wood products manufacturing or adjacent industries.
- Expertise in multi-site operations and supply chain optimization.
- Experience leading companies with $300M+ in annual revenue.
- A proven ability to scale manufacturing operations, enhance margins, and drive long-term enterprise value.
- Previous CEO or divisional President experience strongly preferred.
