Celebrating 20 Years of Success: A Journey with SnapDragon

Taking a moment to look back on the incredible ride SnapDragon Associates has been on for the past two decades fills me with both pride and gratitude. As the President and Owner, I can’t help but feel a sense of excitement and optimism about what’s ahead for this fantastic team and the candidates and clients we serve.

Growth and Community

My personal journey with SnapDragon Associates began when I was just 22 years old, full of dreams of becoming a teacher. Little did I know that a summer gig at my father’s company would turn into a decade-long (and counting!) career that’s been incredibly fulfilling.

My story is like many others on our team – a mix of personal growth, professional milestones, and evolving into the professionals we aspired to be. Through weddings, buying homes, and celebrating the joys of parenthood, we’ve supported each other every step of the way, both personally and professionally. In 2023, for example, 3 of the women on our team experienced being pregnant at the same time! (And we still had a record year! 😉)

Building Our Name in the Industry

Reflecting on the past decade, I have to acknowledge the huge strides we’ve made in delivering real results for our clients and candidates. The Building Materials industry is vast but it feels like a tight-knit community. To meet our clients’ needs, we’ve upped our communication game, emphasized cultural fit, and really focused on delivering exceptional outcomes. By understanding the needs of candidates and companies alike, we’ve positioned ourselves as a trusted partner in the Building Products industry. Our dedication to excellence and building strong relationships has truly set us apart and been key to our success.

As Joe Benetz, President of RAM Windows, said recently, “Cassie and her team have not only worked hard to find candidates that bring the necessary experience and qualifications, but they have identified those folks that best align with our culture and mission.” This is the feedback that keeps us going.

SnapDragon’s Culture

One thing that really stands out to me about our team at SnapDragon is our people. With a mix of backgrounds, personalities, and skills, we’ve created a work environment where everyone is unique but on the same page. The synergy within our team is truly remarkable and speaks volumes about our collective strength and unity over the years. We’re also a fun group to grab a beer with!

Looking Back

As we celebrate our 20th anniversary, I feel honored to be part of this incredible journey with SnapDragon Associates. The past two decades have been defined by growth, resilience, and a relentless pursuit of excellence. Looking ahead to the next 20 years, I am confident that even greater achievements and milestones await us, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to lead such an extraordinary team toward continued success. My husband, Kalvin, and I are in the process of becoming majority owners. Last October we became partial owners and we’re transitioning to majority-owners by later this year. Working alongside my husband and father has been an experience that I’m truly grateful for.

The Next 20 Years

When I think about the next 20 years, I see SnapDragon not just growing, but thriving as the ultimate hub for candidates in the Building Materials industry. Picture a place where folks not only get quick feedback but also land those career-defining opportunities. I also envision us solidifying our position as the top recruitment partner for major players in the industry – a reputation we’ve worked hard to build. With our amazing team and strong reputation, I’m genuinely looking forward to all the amazing things we’ve yet to achieve.
